Cookies Policy

Last Updated: April 9, 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how sparxprep.in uses cookies for Google Sign-In authentication, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense, and how you can manage your preferences.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. When you first visit SparxPrep, our consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising). Essential cookies required for sign-in and core functionality are always active.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your browser, remember information about your visit, and, in some cases, track your activity across other websites. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage, for comparable purposes.

2. How We Use Cookies

SparxPrep uses cookies for three main purposes: to keep you signed in and the Platform functioning correctly (essential cookies), to understand how visitors use the Platform so we can improve it (analytics cookies via Google Analytics), and to support the display of ads through Google AdSense (advertising cookies).

3. Essential Cookies

We use next-auth session and CSRF cookies to support Google Sign-In and keep you securely logged in to your account. These cookies are strictly necessary for authentication and core functionality — the Platform cannot function properly without them, so they are not subject to the cookie consent toggle described below.

4. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use sparxprep.in — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and how they navigate the Platform. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _gid to distinguish users and sessions. This data is aggregated and used to improve our content and user experience; it is not used to personally identify you.

5. Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)

SparxPrep displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (such as __gads, __gpi, IDE, and NID) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can learn more about how Google uses this data at Google's Ads Policy page, and manage your ad personalization settings through Google Ads Settings (both linked below).

6. Your Choices & Consent

When you first visit SparxPrep, you can choose to accept or decline non-essential cookies through our consent banner. By default, analytics and advertising cookies remain in a denied state until you provide consent, in line with Google's Consent Mode. You can change your preference at any time by clearing site cookies in your browser and revisiting the Platform, which will show the consent banner again.

Declining non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to sign in or use core features of the Platform, but may result in less relevant ads and less accurate usage reporting on our end.

7. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings menu. Blocking all cookies, including essential ones, may prevent you from signing in or using certain features of the Platform. Refer to your browser's help documentation for specific instructions (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge each label this section slightly differently, usually under "Privacy and Security").

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time, including when we add or remove third-party tools. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
